It was April and the Aboriginals in Arnhem Land asked their tribal elder if the coming winter was going to be cold or mild.
But the elder had never been taught the old secrets of predicting weather. So not wanting to lose their respect he looked thoughtfully up at the sky and told his tribe that the winter was likely to be cold. So the tribe hurried off to collect firewood to be prepared.
Seeing all this work occurring, the elder wanted to be sure of his prediction. So he walked 30 kms out to the telephone booth on the highway, called the Bureau of Meteorology and asked, 'Is the coming winter in this area going to be cold?'
The meteorologist responded, 'It looks like this winter is going to be quite cold.'
So the elder went back to his people and told them to collect even more wood in order to be prepared.
A week later he called the Bureau of Meteorology again, just to check. 'Does it still look like it is going to be a very cold winter?'
The meteorologist again replied, 'Yes, it's going to be a very cold winter.'
The elder again went back to his community and ordered them to furiously collect every scrap of firewood they could find.
Two weeks later the elder called the Bureau again. 'Are you absolutely sure that the winter is going to be very cold?' he asked.
'Absolutely,' the man replied. 'It's looking more and more like it is going to be one of the coldest winters ever.'
'How can you be so sure?' the elder asked.
The weatherman replied, 'Our satellites images have reported that the Aboriginals in Arnhem Land are collecting firewood like crazy, and that's always a sure sign.'

Excellent thoughts, Smokey!
Many of us thought that making money online should be easy ... after all, the whole world is your "oyster"! But in mixing metaphors to support what you have shared it comes back to the answer to the question of how do you eat an elephant ... one bite at a time.
By establishing the bigger goal (eating the elephant) and then working out the details (one bite at a time) it is possible to benefit from another of the simple wisdom statements most of us have heard at some point in our lives, "inch by inch its a cinch"!

When Is "FREE" Too High A Cost?!
If there is true value in a free offer then that is obviously a very, very good thing ... and a rarity too. We know that is exactly what we have here in womVegas. The philosophy of providing tremendous value for free members is one of the things that Tim is most well known to do. If you have had the good fortune to be a part of some of Tim's other programs you have seen his commitment to providing incredible value.
How could that ever be anything other than a good thing? It IS decisively ONLY a GOOD thing.
If you are a member of womVegas for the social networking community to have a fun place to enjoy the company of a lot of wonderful people then you are in the right place doing the right thing and my thoughts are not intended for you.
The rest of us that like the fact that womVegas is also a very business friendly place may want to wrestle with the ever so slight distinction between "cost" versus "price". A good friend of mine shared this with me a number of years ago; price is best thought of as the monetary amount expended to purchase something where as cost is best defined is the opportunity (or lack thereof) associated with a decision. If you will accept those definitions of the terms "cost" and "price" then what I really want to talk about is just how much better womVegas becomes as a sales agent. Yes, there is a Promo Kit needed to access the full compensation plan available, so if you want to make a lot of money from being a sales agent for womVegas then accept that as a cost of doing business. Every business incurs operating expenses, we should be no different, should we? There are many "W2" employees that actually have more out-of-pocket expense to work their job than we have to set up and operate a business! Talk with a lot of the folks that work for companies that require uniform tops and ask them who pays for them. Ask who pays for the gasoline to commute back and forth each day and who pays for the added expense of meals eaten away from home; just to cover a few of the expenses faced by many employees. If you have young children then the cost of daycare becomes material for another conversation!
I hope looking at the sales agent opportunity from that perspective allows you to fully embrace the ADDED value that womVegas provides to those that want to make money.

When you search Las Vegas on twitter, your posts from wom vegas "tweet this" are showing up
HOw many people in the world search for las vegas on twitter?
Twitter Does 19 Billion Searches Per Month, Beating Yahoo and Bing
How many searches does Twitter handle per month? We’ve finally got a figure: 19 billion. That has Twitter doing over nearly five times the queries that Bing handles and about 20% of those that mega search star Google processes. But hang on. Even Twitter cofounder Ev Williams says the figures aren’t all apple to apples.
At Twitter’s Chirp conference today, Williams said that Twitter does about 600 million queries per day. Catching him after his talk, I followed up to gather some more specific figures.
So Twitter does 18 billion searches a month, working off the 600 million per day figure? Williams said the monthly figure is closer to 19 billion.
How’s that compare against the major search engines? Working off comScore figures from December 2009 for worldwide search queries, we have:
•Google: 88 billion per month
•Twitter: 19 billion per month
•Yahoo: 9.4 billion per month
•Bing: 4.1 billion per month

First of all, I have been busy setting up Twitter stuff and blogging and making changes to my websites, BUT I do see what all of you are doing and I really, really appreciate your attention to what is going on, along with the other moderators who are helping us out. Thank you so much. It is really helping Tim and I to get a lot of things that will make WOM Vegas so much better in the future, like being able to having a video for selling Promo Kits to businesses in your area, and having a video to sell Promo Kits to Internet marketers, and having perpetual bidding for text ads, and allowing upgraded members to set up auto-posting in their premium chat rooms, and allowing both free and upgraded members to pay for advertising in high traffic areas like the home page and bingo and dice game. Those things are going to make it much easier for you to make sales and build your WOM Vegas business, and Tim and I could not get those things done without your help.

I was trying to find that member you were talking about (@KCsline and @dreamspay), but cannot find them in search for username, first, or last. The best way to see what a spammer is doing is to go to the home page, and search for them in the search box to the right under the WOM Vegas sign. You can see their activity in all rooms, the same way you can in the "ALL POSTS" tab on their profile page.
What they post in the 250 points room or Free For All room is not too important, because those rooms are for posting just about anything. But if they are abusing their privilege to post in those rooms by dominating it or taking up a whole page, etc., start deleting and let them know why. If they keep on doing it, then start deleting with penalty and they will be temporarily banned from all house chat rooms. Do not use PARENT-CHILD tone or a TEACHER-STUDENT tone in your posts, but use a CUSTOMER SERVICE tone, by letting them know it is a common mistake and that it is no big deal and that their cooperation is appreciated.
In the Brick and Mortar, nobody can get more than 24,000 posts in 24 hours. There will always be a cut-off time, and so people can post at the end of a one-hour time, and then post again at the beginning of a different one hour period. That is fine. It does not give them an advantage. Tim will change the time when the hour changes from time to time to mix it up.
Same things hold true for 250 points room.
Once again, thanks for all of your help. WOM Vegas is getting better every day in every way, and it is primarily because of you.

Another thing you can do while waiting on me to get the trainings started here, is to start practicing this to make it part of your habits:
HOW TO FIND PEOPLE THAT WANT TO BE A DISTRIBUTOR:
When someone asks you, "What do you do", you say:
"I show people how to make a second paycheck using a fun social website."
If they are interested they will ask you more, if they change the subject, leave it be. Do not try to convince.

If you want to get more people asking you what you do, first ask them what they do. Not everyone will ask you but some will. If you are not really interested in what they do, do not ask.

HOW YOU ONLY GIVE PRESENTATIONS TO PEOPLE THAT ARE INTERESTED IN EARNING EXTRA MONEY AND HAVE THE TIME:
2 qualifications in a distributor. Desire and Time.
Explain difference between need and desire.
2 magic questions:
A. Do you want to earn some extra money?
B. Are you willing to set aside 7 to 10 hours per week?
If they say no, or ask what its about, just say "I am just taking a survey". This way you will only be giving presentations to people that want to earn extra money and will set aside some extra time.

'MEET ME IN THE STAIRWELL'
You say you will never forget where you were when
you heard the news On September 11, 2001.
Neither will I.
I was on the 110th floor in a smoke filled room
with a man who called his wife to say 'Good-Bye.' I
held his fingers steady as he dialed. I gave him the
peace to say, 'Honey, I am not going to make it, but it
is OK..I am ready to go.'
I was with his wife when he called as she fed
breakfast to their children. I held her up as she
tried to understand his words and as she realized
he wasn't coming home that night.
I was in the stairwell of the 23rd floor when a
woman cried out to Me for help. 'I have been
knocking on the door of your heart for 50 years!' I said.
'Of course I will show you the way home - only
believe in Me now.'
I was at the base of the building with the Priest
ministering to the injured and devastated souls.
I took him home to tend to his Flock in Heaven. He
heard my voice and answered.
I was on all four of those planes, in every seat,
with every prayer. I was with the crew as they
were overtaken. I was in the very hearts of the
believers there, comforting and assuring them that their
faith has saved them.
I was in Texas , Virginia , California , Michigan , Afghanistan .
I was standing next to you when you heard the terrible news.
Did you sense Me?
I want you to know that I saw every face. I knew
every name - though not all know Me. Some met Me
for the first time on the 86th floor.
Some sought Me with their last breath.
Some couldn't hear Me calling to them through the
smoke and flames; 'Come to Me... this way... take
my hand.' Some chose, for the final time, to ignore Me.
But, I was there.
I did not place you in the Tower that day. You
may not know why, but I do.. However, if you were
there in that explosive moment in time, would you have
reached for Me?
Sept. 11, 2001, was not the end of the journey
for you . But someday your journey will end. And I
will be there for you as well. Seek Me now while I may
be found. Then, at any moment, you know you are
'ready to go.'
I will be in the stairwell of your final moments.

I have learned a lesson, redundant backups are no good if you don't have the password written down on paper.
I am on my backup computer at home, and have had very little sleep since 1 PM friday trying to get back to my files at home.

ChapterOne It was November 5, 1962. I was serving in The Royal Navy and I was detailed to attend The Lord Mayors Ball, being held in Weymout, Dorset. Picture the scene. A massive dance floor, inside Weymouth's Pavillion. Lined up along one side, five hundred young men, many in full dress uniform.On the opposite side, hundreds of young, beautifully turned out young ladies. Who was going to make the first move?
Like most of the other young men, I was seeking courage, in a glass of something extremely warming, and passing the time with completely inane chatter, to disguise our nervous disposition. One or two of the girls, where beginning to dance with each other - Jive and Twist, being the popular order of the day.
My head suddenly began to spin. I saw this "vision", floating in the far outer region of the dance floor. Without knowing what I was doing or why, my body was being conveyed across the void, seemingly of its own accord.......I am now standing in front of this Beautiful Lady, an idiotic grin, spreading from ear to ear, and without realizing what I was doing, I politely informed her, that in the near future , it would be my intention, to ask for her hand in marriage. -" Meanwhile, could I have the pleasure of this dance".
During the pause that followed, I felt the floor beginning to open beneath me. "Thank you. I would be delighted".
Eight months later, I married my Beautiful Wife Jenny, and she insists, I am equally crazy today, as I was forty seven years ago.........to be continued

With the economy being in the worst shape in recent memory and only showing signs of slow recovery, many people need ways to earn income.
We are seeing stories of hundreds of people coming out to apply for those few openings that business want to fill. The chance of an applicant being selected is often very, very slim. Yet scores of people stand in line hoping to be selected.
If they ARE selected they may have to update items in their wardrobe in order to be appropriate for the requirements of the work. They may even have to pay for uniform tops that display the company's logo! There could be additional expenses for meals purchases away from home. The cost of gasoline will most likely go up with a daily commute. The first paycheck could take a few weeks to receive, it is usual for a new person to have to complete a full pay cycle before getting that first check. All of this for pay that may just barely justify the time and effort.
WHY? Maybe because it is the only thing people know to do?
Let's get the word out that their ARE viable alternatives to those traditional jobs. Working from home with a program like WomVegas for example!
